1. INTRODUCTION & AGREEMENT

Soul Harbor Therapies ("we," "us," or "our") operates www.soulharbortherapies.com (the "Site") and related services (collectively, "Services"). These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you") and Soul Harbor Therapies.

2. OUR SERVICES

We provide complementary therapy services including:

•Clinical Hypnotherapy

•Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT)

•Reiki

•Spiritual Midwifery (student)

•Naturopathy (student)

Important: Our services are complementary and do not replace medical advice. Always consult qualified healthcare professionals for medical conditions.

3. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES

3.1 Full Disclosure Obligation

You are solely responsible for providing complete and accurate information regarding your physical, mental, and emotional health, medical history, medications, and any other factors that may affect your treatment. Soul Harbor Therapies accepts no liability or responsibility for any adverse outcomes resulting from your failure to disclose relevant information. Withholding information that impacts the safety, appropriateness, or effectiveness of our services voids all liability on our part.

3.2 Medical Treatment Responsibility

You acknowledge that:

•Soul Harbor Therapies provides complementary therapies only and does not constitute medical treatment, diagnosis, or prescription

•Our services do not replace conventional medical care from your GP, hospital consultant, or other qualified healthcare professionals

•You are solely responsible for maintaining appropriate medical treatment for all health conditions

•We strongly recommend you inform your primary healthcare provider before commencing any complementary therapy

•We accept no liability for any consequences arising from your failure to seek or maintain conventional medical care

3.3 Emergency Care Responsibility

For urgent health concerns outside scheduled sessions:

•You agree to contact NHS 111, your GP out-of-hours service, or attend Accident & Emergency (A&E) as appropriate

•Soul Harbor Therapies does not provide emergency medical services

•Our therapists are not available for crisis support outside scheduled appointments

•You accept full responsibility for accessing appropriate emergency care when needed

3.4 Treatment Recommendations

You acknowledge that:

•All therapeutic recommendations are provided for your consideration only

•You retain full autonomy in deciding whether to follow, modify, or decline any recommendations

•You accept sole responsibility for the consequences of implementing or disregarding therapeutic advice

•Soul Harbor Therapies accepts no liability for outcomes resulting from your choices regarding recommended practices

3.5 General Responsibilities

You agree to:

•Attend sessions punctually and in appropriate condition (see Section 8 regarding substance impairment)

•Provide 24 hours' notice for cancellations (see Section 4)

•Communicate any changes in your health status or circumstances that may affect treatment

•Respect professional boundaries and therapeutic relationship guidelines

4. BOOKING & PAYMENT TERMS

Appointments:

•Must be booked exclusively through our official channels

•Require full payment in advance via bank transfer (or cash at the start of the session in exceptional circumstances). Non-payment will result in immediate session termination.

•May be rescheduled with minimum 48 hours' notice prior to the scheduled appointment time.

•Cancellations with less than 24 hours' notice will incur the full session fee.

Health & Safety Requirements:

•For in person appointments clients must inform us immediately if exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19, influenza, or any contagious illness (including fever, cough, respiratory symptoms, or diagnosed infections). Sessions will be rescheduled at no cost if either client or therapist shows symptoms.

•We reserve the right to conduct health screenings before in-person sessions.

•Virtual sessions may be offered as an alternative during illness at our sole discretion.

•Clients attending sessions while knowingly contagious will be refused service without refund.

Payment Terms:

•Accepted methods: Bank transfer (or cash only pre-agreed)

•All prices are quoted in GBP (£)

•We reserve the right to revise prices with reasonable notice

•Payment disputes must be raised in writing within 14 days of the transaction date to: soulharbortherapies@proton.me

5. CONFIDENTIALITY & DATA PROTECTION

We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and Data Protection Act 2018. Our Privacy Policy (linked below) explains how we handle your personal data.

All client information is strictly confidential except:

•Where required by law

•With your explicit consent

•To prevent serious harm

6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

All content on this Site (text, graphics, logos, images) is owned by or licensed to Soul Harbor Therapies and protected by UK copyright law (Copyright, Designs and Patents Act 1988).

Your Limited License:

We grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to:

•Access our Services

•Download/print content for personal use

Prohibited Uses:

You may not:

•Copy, modify, or distribute our content

•Use our trademarks without permission

•Reverse engineer our Site

•Use our content for commercial purposes

7. USER REPRESENTATIONS

By using our Services, you warrant that you:

8. PROHIBITED ACTIVITIES

You may not:

•Use our Services for illegal purposes

•Harass, abuse, or harm others

•Interfere with Site security or functionality

•Upload viruses or malicious code

•Violate any applicable laws

•Attend sessions under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We reserve the right to immediately terminate any session where a client appears impaired, with no refund provided.

•Engage in abuse, threats, harassment, or violence toward our therapists, employees, or representatives. Such behaviour will result in immediate termination of services, potential legal action, and reporting to relevant authorities.

9. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the fullest extent permitted by UK law:

•Our Services are provided "as is"

•We exclude all implied warranties

•Our total liability is limited to the fees paid by you

•We are not liable for:

•Indirect or consequential loss

•Loss of profits or data

•Personal injury not caused by our negligence

•Business interruptions

•Any legal consequences arising from clients accessing our Services from jurisdictions where such use may violate local laws

•Transmission of infectious diseases during in-person sessions (clients attend at their own risk)

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

•Death or personal injury caused by our negligence

•Fraudulent misrepresentation

•Breach of statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

10. GOVERNING LAW & JURISDICTION

Governing Law:

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

International Clients:

•If you access our Services from outside the United Kingdom, you are solely responsible for compliance with all applicable local laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.

•Soul Harbor Therapies makes no representation that our Services are appropriate or available for use in locations outside the UK.

•We accept no liability whatsoever for any legal violations, regulatory issues, or other consequences arising from your use of our Services in jurisdictions where such use may be restricted or prohibited.

•All services are governed exclusively by UK law regardless of your location.

Dispute Resolution:

We follow a tiered approach:

2.Mediation: If unresolved, we'll engage an independent mediator

3.Court Proceedings: As a last resort, disputes will be heard in the courts of England and Wales

Consumer Rights:

If you are a consumer, you retain all statutory rights under:

•Consumer Rights Act 2015

•Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008

•Alternative Dispute Resolution for Consumer Disputes (Competent Authorities and Information) Regulations 2015

11. TERMINATION

We may suspend or terminate your access:

•Immediately for breach of these Terms

•With 7 days' notice for any other reason

•Without notice for illegal activities

Upon termination:

•All licenses granted to you will cease

•We may delete your account information

•You must cease using our Services
